CUPPING

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. The vacuum formed by Cupping draws up the old non-circulating stagnant blood and fluids from the area, bringing them up to the surface and away from the injury so that healthy free circulation can be restored to the affected area, thus creating space for oxygen and nutrients for faster recovery.

SWEDISH MASSAGE

Swedish massage therapy is the modality that comes to mind when most people think about massage. As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But Swedish massage therapy goes beyond relaxation. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Deep tissue massage involves manipulation of the deep layers of tissue in the body, including the fascia and other supportive tissue that make up the muscles and joints. Compared to other popular massage techniques which tend to be lighter in pressure, deep tissue massage is usually slower and firmer. It's used to break up scar tissue and physically break down muscle "knots" or adhesions that can disrupt circulation and cause pain, limited range of motion, and inflammation.

SPORTS MASSAGE

Sports massage is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries. Sports massage sessions involve various massage and stretching techniques as well as other modalities, all depending upon the client and particular pre/post event at hand.

NEUROMUSCULAR THERAPY

Neuromuscular therapy helps five specific causes of pain. Trigger Points, small “knots” in your muscles that when compressed create referred pain locally or to other areas of your body. Ischemia, the lack of blood supply to your muscles causing them to become very sensitive to the touch. Nerve Compression or entrapment caused by tight muscle fibers or knots. Postural Distortion or a muscle imbalance which pulls your body out of alignment. And Biomechanical Dysfunction which is an imbalance of your muscles and bones resulting in improper movement patterns.

AIS STRETCHING

Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a technique that helps people maximize the effectiveness of stretching without causing the sort of discomfort that keeps a lot of us away from it.

PRENATAL MASSAGE

Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes ofpregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue.

KINESIO TAPING

The Kinesio Taping Method is a rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion as well as providing extended soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual therapy administered within the clinical setting.

AMINO NEURO FREQUENCY THERAPY

ANF Therapy uses a combination of frequency emitting wearable devices, the ANF Discs. Each disc is applied directly on the skin and activated by the body heat. They transmit a unique range of frequencies through the neurons in the body. The nervous system picks up these frequencies, starting a self-healing and self-regulating process. By improving the nervous system signaling directly at the cellular level, the effect of the treatment is much faster and has remarkable durable results. The ANF Therapy does not require the use of any drugs or chemicals.

MANUAL LIGAMENT THERAPY

Manual Ligament Therapy (MLT) is a new and original technique created to manipulate ligaments that allows our muscles to relax and almost completely “let go” of the tension held within. Research has revealed that ligaments feed the brain with more proprioceptive information about joints than muscles and tendons.  We have learned that ligaments are a significant source of pain, especially in cases of chronic pain.
